NASA launches Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope from Florida
NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope launched Sunday from Kennedy Space Center on a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. The $4 billion observatory investigates dark energy, dark matter, tests gravity at vast scales and searches for exoplanets. It will travel to Lagrange Point 2, a million miles away, with a planned five-year mission potentially extending five more years.
