Uber launches robotaxis in London with Wayve technology
Uber began offering autonomous rides in London on Thursday using self-driving technology developed by British startup Wayve. London becomes Europe's second city for Uber robotaxis, following Zagreb. Fewer than 20 Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles will be available initially, with a licensed operator on board to monitor each car before fully driverless operations begin.
