Jean-Paul Rappeneau, director of Cyrano de Bergerac, dies at 94
The French filmmaker Jean-Paul Rappeneau died on Wednesday at age 94, his son announced. His film Cyrano de Bergerac, starring Gérard Depardieu, won 10 César awards including best film in 1991.
