Tesla presents European safety data for self-driving push before EU vote
Tesla said its supervised self-driving technology had 4.1 times fewer collisions compared with manually driven cars in five European countries where it is permitted, citing data from more than 100 million km of driving between April and August. The automaker released an open-source safety dashboard on Tuesday as it lobbies for broader EU approval, with a vote potentially scheduled for October 6.
