Wendell Berry, Kentucky author and agrarian voice, dies at 92
Wendell Berry, the Kentucky-born writer whose poems, stories, novels and essays celebrated farming communities and warned against industrial excess, died at his home in Port Royal, Kentucky. His daughter Mary Berry confirmed the death on Monday. Berry championed small family farms and the environment throughout his career.
