Las Vegas jury finds ex-gang leader guilty in 1996 Tupac Shakur killing
A 12-person jury unanimously convicted Duane Davis of first-degree murder with a deadly weapon in the drive-by killing of hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, resolving a decades-old cold case. Davis, 63, was accused of leading the attack in retaliation for the beating of his nephew. Police had long suspected Davis but charged him only after he disclosed his account in media appearances and a memoir.
