Venezuela and U.S. agree to 25-year oil development deal

Venezuelan interim President Delcy Rodríguez announced a 25-year bilateral oil agreement with the United States covering 17 strategic oilfields. The accord aims to extract 1.5 million barrels daily or more, with President Trump asserting that the U.S. will hold controlling stakes in much of Venezuela's oil reserves.
