Israeli security minister posts video boasting of worsened prison conditions

Itamar Ben Gvir posted footage on August 30 of Palestinian prisoner Yasmine Shaaban describing extremely poor conditions, saying he was proud prison circumstances had been reduced to the bare minimum. Ben Gvir compared the treatment to conditions endured by hostages held by Hamas. Brutality, hatred and racism—those are the charges leveled by the Palestinian Authority's Commission on Detainees Affairs.
