Trump renames Lake Ontario to Lake America as Canada trade talks collapse

President Donald Trump issued a decree to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America during an escalating trade dispute with Canada. Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded with a large sign on the Canadian shoreline reading "Lake Ontario. Now and Always," while Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that talks with the United States had collapsed.
