Rybakina expects to be ready for U.S. Open after ankle injury

Elena Rybakina, the world number two, expects to compete at the U.S. Open while recovering from an ankle injury she sustained at the Cincinnati Open on August 20. The twice Grand Slam winner retired from her quarter-final match against Iga Swiatek and said the injury was painful to walk on for a couple of days, but she is satisfied with her recovery progress.
