Amazon suspends use of 21 Air after fatal Miami crash
Amazon said it was suspending its use of cargo carrier 21 Air after one of its Amazon-branded aircraft crashed on landing in Miami on September 6, killing five people. The 21 Air-operated jet overshot the runway and hit several vehicles.

How this story developed
North Carolina-based 21 Air had flown packages for Amazon since 2024. The aircraft overran the runway by about 1,300 feet while landing at Miami International Airport.
