Five dead and 87 missing after fire engulfs Philippine ferry near Palawan
A fire broke out aboard the MV June Aster on Wednesday evening about 2.2 km offshore in the Philippine province of Palawan, killing at least five people. The Philippine Coast Guard said 42 people were rescued, but 87 remain unaccounted for from the 134 passengers and crew listed on the ship's manifest.
