UK minister condemns 'thuggish' anti-migrant protests in Portsmouth
Emma Reynolds, chief secretary to the Treasury, condemned hundreds of protesters who blocked streets in Portsmouth on Sunday evening as they sought to prevent migrants arriving from France. The demonstration was the second anti-migrant protest in two days, following a disruption at Dover on Saturday where masked protesters chanted "Stop the boats".
