Tennis players increasingly travel with dogs for emotional support on tour

The French Open offered a dedicated dog concierge service and accreditation badges for 10 dogs in 2026. Aryna Sabalenka, world number one, had to leave her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy Ash behind at Wimbledon because only service dogs and certified assistance dogs are permitted.
