Two killed in small aircraft crash near Tampa, Florida

Two people died when a Lancair Evolution single-engine aircraft crashed in a wooded area near Tampa Executive Airport shortly after takeoff on Thursday. Firefighters extinguished the fire in less than ten minutes and found the two bodies inside the wreckage, which sustained extensive damage. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the accident.
