Macron visits Bayeux Tapestry at British Museum with King Charles and British PM
Emmanuel Macron visited the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum in London on Wednesday alongside King Charles III and British Prime Minister Andy Burnham. The nearly thousand-year-old work will remain on display in London for 10 months. The tapestry depicts the Battle of Hastings in 1066, when William, Duke of Normandy, defeated the Anglo-Saxon army of King Harold.
