Uber cuts 3,300 jobs in largest layoff since the pandemic
Uber Technologies is laying off 3,300 employees, or 10% of its workforce, in its biggest reduction since COVID-19. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said the cuts will flatten management layers and reduce organisational complexity that accumulated during rapid growth, enabling faster decision-making and allowing the company to reinvest savings in growth and innovation.
