Netherlands moves 86 tonnes of gold to London citing geopolitical unrest
The Dutch central bank transferred 86 tonnes of gold from the United States and Canada to London between March and August, representing 14 percent of its reserves. The bank said gold held in London can be traded more easily than bullion in New York and Ottawa, making it quicker to deploy in a crisis amid increasing geopolitical unrest.
