France to examine comprehensive gender violence bill in early October
A comprehensive bill against gender-based and sexual violence will be examined by the French National Assembly beginning October 1, Sébastien Lecornu confirmed. The bill, filed on August 11 by Socialist deputy Céline Thiébault-Martinez, contains 69 articles and will be reviewed by a special commission starting September 7.
