Strait of Hormuz traffic slips as Iran's crude exports hit a wall

On Tuesday, just four cargo ships moved through the Strait of Hormuz, compared with ten the day before and trailing a 10-day running average near 13 vessels. For approximately seven weeks Iran has suspended major crude shipments via the strait, as a U.S. naval blockade has cut off new deliveries to China, its last significant crude customer.
