EU antitrust authorities seek publisher views on Google's AI search opt-out proposal

European regulators have asked publishers to weigh in on Google's plan to let them exclude their content from AI search while preserving their regular search visibility. The responses will help determine whether the proposal adequately tackles competition issues and protects publishers from having their material used without fair compensation.
