Haakon VIII to pledge oath to parliament as Norway's king following Harald's death

King Haakon VIII will take an oath before parliament on Tuesday, pledging to uphold Norway's constitution and laws following his father King Harald's death on Friday at age 89. Support for the monarchy has risen to 72% among Norwegians, according to a poll published Tuesday, up from 64% in May.
