Ikea cuts prices by €1.2 billion across Europe to revive sales
Swedish furniture retailer Ikea announced the investment on Tuesday as it seeks to attract cost-conscious shoppers after two consecutive years of falling revenue. Rising housing costs and reduced consumer spending on homeware prompted the move, with price reductions on more than 1,500 products in Germany alone.
