Nepal-Tibet floods kill over 1,000 as rescuers search for survivors
Flooding across Nepal and Tibet has claimed more than 1,000 lives, with rescue teams continuing operations. Roughly 4,500 people remain missing in the two regions, including some 900 believed trapped in mud-filled tunnels at 12 Nepali hydropower facilities, while the Red Cross says the disaster has affected more than 93,000 people.
