Spain accuses Russia and Israel of spreading disinformation during Ceuta migrant surge
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said Russia and Israel spread disinformation about Spain's migration policy during a migrant surge into Ceuta. Between July 30 and 31, more than 72,000 migrants crossed irregularly from Morocco into Ceuta. Both countries denied involvement, and Sánchez said there was no evidence of Moroccan involvement in spreading the disinformation.
