Sweden signs order for four French navy frigates
Sweden's defence material administration signed an order for four Naval Group frigates on Monday in Stockholm, with French President Emmanuel Macron and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson attending the ceremony. Sweden announced the $4 billion deal in May, which will triple its air defence capacity as the NATO member builds up its military in response to security threats in the Baltic Sea.
