India rejects Hague court order on Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan

The Permanent Court of Arbitration ordered India to restrict work on the Ratle hydroelectric project in Jammu and Kashmir, but India rejected the ruling, saying the court has no jurisdiction. Pakistan welcomed the order and said it would consider how to resume engagement under the treaty.
