Dolly Parton laid to rest in Nashville alongside husband

The country music singer, who died on August 25 at age 80 after a brief battle with cancer, was interred in a private ceremony on Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum. She was buried alongside her husband of 60 years, Carl Thomas.
