Nepal floods kill over 900 as Singapore offers aid and relief funds

Flash floods hit Nepal's northern border region on August 26, killing over 900 people with thousands still missing. A school principal in Bidur evacuated more than 900 students and staff after receiving a 14-minute warning. Singapore is sending police specialists and humanitarian supplies, with fundraising efforts by the Singapore Red Cross reaching approximately $1 million.
