Italy and Spain extend border controls for 15 more days
Italy extended its suspension of the Schengen agreement with Spain and border controls on passengers arriving from Spanish ports and airports for another 15 days on Monday. Spain responded by extending its own controls on Italian passengers until September 7, following a large influx of migrants into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on July 30.
