Honda and Nissan to jointly develop vehicle software for 2029 rollout
Japanese automakers Honda and Nissan said they will jointly develop standardised electronic control units and in-vehicle operating systems for software-defined vehicles. Starting in fiscal 2029, the two companies will begin deploying next-generation vehicles built on this jointly developed architecture.
