Turkey's economy grows 2.3% in second quarter, below forecasts

Turkey's economy expanded 2.3% year-over-year in the second quarter of 2026, official data showed Monday, falling short of economist expectations of 2.9%. The quarter-on-quarter expansion was 1.1%, marking the fourth consecutive quarter of decelerating growth.
