Tokyo stocks fall as Iran and U.S. exchange military strikes
Japan's Nikkei index dropped more than 2% at the opening of trading Monday after the United States and Iran exchanged attacks in the Middle East for the first time in more than a month. The broader Topix index fell 1%, with semiconductor and artificial intelligence-related companies among the biggest losers.
