Dollar holds two-week high as Warsh signals possible rate increase
The dollar steadied near a two-week high on Monday after Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh said on Friday the central bank would need to do more if inflation does not head toward 2 per cent. Markets raised the probability of a September rate hike to 57 per cent, pushing two-year Treasury yields to their highest in more than a month at 4.33 per cent.
