Lavrov says NATO Arctic buildup threatens Russian security

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has characterized the alliance's expanding Arctic presence as a security threat, warning of potential confrontation risks. The alliance established its Arctic Sentry operation in February and continues to strengthen its foothold in the region, including through Norway's expansion of Arctic-based military forces.
