Ukraine's defence chief outlines war plan as Kyiv seeks to accelerate EU funding
Ukraine's new defence minister Yevhenii Khmara said he would present partners with a clear strategy for fighting Russia, as the government seeks to accelerate a European Union loan to cover a $27 billion military budget deficit. The EU has committed €90 billion in financing through 2027, with €45 billion allocated to each of 2026 and 2027.
