Van Dijk hopes Liverpool retain Gakpo as Manchester City closes in

Virgil van Dijk said he wants Cody Gakpo to stay at Liverpool, but the club appears open to selling the Dutch forward to Manchester City before Tuesday's transfer deadline. Manchester City is reportedly prepared to pay £75 million for Gakpo, who has scored 51 goals in three-and-a-half years at Liverpool.
