UEFA and CONCACAF demand FIFA distribute $10m to each member association
The presidents of UEFA and CONCACAF have written to FIFA president Gianni Infantino calling for a $10m payout from FIFA's $6bn reserves to each of the 211 member associations. The demand comes as the confederations challenge Infantino's private equity proposal and argue that FIFA has sufficient cash to fund its members directly.
