Brent crude jumped to US$108.23 per barrel, up 3.46 per cent, while WTI climbed 3.15 per cent to US$103.20 after Sunday's strikes. Saudi authorities posted images showing destruction in Jazan province from what they attributed to Houthi militants, who claimed responsibility for a separate attack on a military installation nearby.
