The FFF is aligning itself with other European federations including Belgium, England, Italy, Scotland, Sweden and Wales, which have also publicly withdrawn their support for Infantino.

Bruel's lawyers say the publication falsely attributed statements to him in an article about his police questioning. He is under examination in four cases including rape and attempted rape.
