UN expert warns rubble removal in Gaza risks destroying evidence of atrocity crimes
Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on the Palestinian territories, warned Monday that large-scale rubble removal under Israeli control in Gaza risks erasing traces of alleged atrocity crimes and preventing recovery of human remains. Palestinian authorities estimate more than 10,000 people remain buried under debris in the territory.
