Israeli strikes kill seven in Lebanon as Aoun calls for US intervention
Israeli strikes on southern Lebanon killed at least seven people Sunday despite a June framework agreement. President Joseph Aoun called on the US and international community to stop the attacks. Israel said the strikes targeted Hezbollah operatives and infrastructure in response to a Hezbollah drone attack on Israeli troops.
