US aircraft carrier departs Thailand after five-day port call
The USS Abraham Lincoln, carrying 5,000 sailors, left Laem Chabang port near Pattaya on Sunday after five days ashore following nine months at sea. Pattaya police said the visit ended largely without incident, with only a drunken altercation among American sailors reported on the first day.
