Argentina has initiated proceedings to sanction 45 companies and individuals involved in hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation in the Falkland Islands, following President Javier Milei's announcement of tougher penalties for such projects. Among those under investigation are Navitas Petroleum and four Israeli institutional entities that hold shares in the company.
