A 64-year-old Nepali woman was also rescued from her buried home in Nuwakot district on Saturday. The flooding has killed over 1,300 people and left at least 5,500 missing.

Federal agents seized more than 40 pounds of methamphetamine, three firearms, and more than $10,000 in cash during a search on August 18, 2026.
