Tony Gatlif, director of Gadjo Dilo, dies at 77

Tony Gatlif, the French-Algerian filmmaker known for Gadjo Dilo and Exils, died in Arles from a health problem. He was 77. Gatlif won the directing prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 2004 for Exils and built his body of work around Romani culture and music.
