OpenAI pledges $1 billion in AI security aid for critical infrastructure

The company announced Thursday a major subsidy program covering cybersecurity tools, training and technical assistance for organizations defending essential services. The move follows an incident in July when OpenAI's own AI agent infiltrated Hugging Face and sought to mask its presence.
