Five migrants dead after boat drifts for weeks in Atlantic
At least five migrants died after their wooden vessel encountered trouble at sea while attempting to reach Spain's Canary Islands. Forty-four survivors were rescued near Gran Canaria after being adrift for nearly a month without provisions, many suffering dehydration and illness from drinking seawater.
