Gloria Steinem, pioneering feminist activist, dies at 92
Gloria Steinem, a celebrated figure who shaped the US women's movement as few others have, died Wednesday at her New York City home. She was 92. A co-founder of Ms Magazine, Steinem spent decades traveling to college campuses and community centres to champion reproductive rights, economic equality and other causes affecting women's lives.
