NBA fines Clippers $30m, suspends Ballmer for salary cap violations

The NBA penalized the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday after a year-long investigation into salary cap circumvention. Owner Steve Ballmer was fined $30 million and suspended for one year, while player Kawhi Leonard was fined $700,000. The team also forfeited five first-round draft picks.
